Gerhard Richter is an visual abstract artist who paints on top on his photographs.

More Primary Photographs

The Forgotten Doll 

My primary photographs of a china doll I place in the woods, to create the effect that someone might have left the doll and forgotten about it.

More Primary Photographs 

These are some primary photographs I have taken of a deserted train station, in response to Jane & Louise Wilson's 'Toxic Camera' project.

Darkroom Experiments

These are my darkroom photographs I have developed but experimented with when developing. Some of the experiments include spraying, dripping and painting developer onto the photo paper, stitching into photographs that had been under or over exposed to 're-create' the photo and cutting parts of a photo out, and then stitching that particular part back together.

Film Camera Experiments

These are some of primary photographs I have taken using a SLR 35mm Film camera.

These particular photographs are the most successful because they have very clear focus and very strong, high contrast making the photograph look a lot more high quality. 

Some of my photographs weren't as successful as others. This is because developer got onto the paper before exposure, not enough exposure and the paper had been exposed to light before exposing the photo. These are some of the photographs which weren't as successful:

Gravestone Photographs

These are some more primary photographs of some gravestones. 

These particular photographs are my favourite out of the

photographs I taken so far because you can clearly see how

they have been left for a long period of time as they are broken

and have grass, weeds over growing on top of the gravestones. 

this very much shows the forgotten effect as no-one has looked 

after them and made sure they didn't become in this type of condition.
